Police investigate officer accused of using capsicum spray during fight with his brother

AN URGENT police audit of capsicum spray has been ordered after a police officer allegedly took a spray can home and used it during a fight with his brother.

A male officer from Oxley, in the Metropolitan South police region, allegedly took home some capsicum spray, usually used to subdue offenders.

It is understood the officer has been stood down, pending an investigation over his alleged use of the capsicum spray on his brother during a fight.
